Pickleball at Dover Sportsplex is played on our Sport Court gym floor, which features built-in shock absorption to reduce players’ impact and fatigue. Since we’ve found that the system also absorbs a bit of rebound energy from most Pickleballs, we are now providing balls of standard weight, size, and hole design, but with slightly more bounce off the floor to give you a familiar, truer playing experience.
 
For folks interested in a quieter, less impactful playing experience, we also offer foam balls as an alternative to traditional hard plastic ones. Pickleball played with foam balls is a softer version of the same game but still great exercise and great fun.
 
Loaner paddles are also provided at no additional cost.
