Frequently Asked Questions
What ages can participate in the summer camp?
Boys & girls aged 8 to 12 years old are eligible to be enrolled. Even if your child is turning 13, as long as they are 12 at the beginning of camp, they are still eligible.
What is the mix of sports and other activities?
Typically, each day will consist of skills training (about 2 ½ hours) and scrimmaging (about 1 hour) in your chosen sport of focus, either basketball or soccer. In addition there will be about 1 hour of non-sports activities like arts and crafts, and 1 ½ hours of fun games like dodgeball.
What are the camp dates, times, and pricing?
There are 8 single week camp sessions for varying age groups. Camp runs from 830am - 5pm with additional aftercare available from 5pm - 6pm.
Who are the coaches?
Campers in our basketball track will receive skills training from coaches from former collegiate athlete and youth coach, Kieran Reynolds.
Campers in our soccer track will receive skills training from Stephen Zuluaga, member of the storied 2017 Dover HS soccer team who later played at Centenary College. Stephen has extensive coaching experience with Cabras FC and travel soccer programs throughout Morris County.
How are counselors trained and vetted?
All counselors will complete SafeSports training and a background check. There will always be multiple counselors in the facility that are CPR-certified.
Do campers need to bring their own equipment?
Campers only need to have proper active attire and sneakers (no cleats) and bring a refillable water bottle. All sports equipment will be provided. We will also give every camper a T-shirt.
How do I register my child, and is there a deadline to sign up?
Click HERE to register your child for your preferred available camp session.
What happens if I refer a friend or sign up multiple family members?
If your friend or family signs up with the link you send them, your account will receive a $20 credit, and your friend will receive $10 off their order.
Will lunch be provided or for sale?
Lunch isn't included in your regular camp registration, but we will offer all campers the opportunity to pre-purchase lunches for the week. Or, your camper can bring their own lunch from home if they would like. (Campers with food allergies should bring their own lunches.)
